The Imagineering Fair: Kids get creative with ArtCAM

Every year over 50 U.K organisations get together, to raise the awareness and interest of young people in engineering and manufacturing. The Imagineering Fair run by the educational charity, the Imagineering Foundation currently attracts over 70,000 visitors a year.

The latest fair, held at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry was a resounding success with visitors coming from all over the midlands to see the principals behind CADCAM, robotics, rockets, aerospace engineering and manufacturing, to name just a few.

Children between the ages of 8-16 years old came to the Delcam stand to see what they could create with ArtCAM. With our easy to use tutorials children where able to quickly and easily design and make their own family crest. Using details such as their name, age, etc directly into the software and have the crest machined onto a key fob whilst on the stand. As a souvenir from the event all children that went onto the stand and created something in ArtCAM were presented with their own ArtCAM certificate.
