Kangnam University in Korea design and make China for range of companies such as Haengnam and Hankook Chinaware. Originally creating all their pieces by hand, they bore an extremely slow turn around and needed a great deal of time and people to gain the knowledge and skills to craft their pieces.

Now with the use of ArtCAM they have dramatically improved work efficiency and are able to benefit from mass production of their products when required. ArtCAM has allowed them the freedom to produce more advanced and intricate designs as well as bringing forward the delivery times they can offer their customers.

With the capability to store previous designs, including selected textures, patterns, manufacturing toolpaths, etc. into one database the software has enabled them to have uniform standard to their products. With ArtCAM’s Project tree they can also create additional pieces using the same database to create other pieces within a range, for example a dinner set. With all the data stored together for each range any necessary changes can be made quickly and easily.

Thanks to ArtCAM, the Kangnam University now has a greater competitive edge in the market place.
